First Look: Samsung Series 5. Chrome OS in a little black dress.
Posted on May 11, 2011 | View CommentsOk, so its not actually in a little black dress, but close enough. Today at Google IO (Day 2), Google announced it’s first OEM partners for Chromebooks. A quick recap of Chrome OS. Chrome OS is a light weight OS that lives on your device, but the cloud handels everything. It is based around the very popular Chrome web browser and uses Google servers and all the web apps out there to get work done. This allows companies to make very sleek, low cost, and ultra efficient machines. The Samsung Series 5 is the perfect example of what the future has in store for us. So lets take a look, shall we? -

Video: Droid X2 Benchmarked.
Posted on April 18, 2011 | View CommentsThis story is actually a couple of day’s old, but its still pretty awesome. TechnoBuffalo managed to get their hands on a nice new DX2 and decided that they needed to benchmark it on video, for the whole world to see. Now I know that phone look almost the same as the first, and that it is lacking a front facing camera and to our knowledge 4G. However, this is sure to be one of the fastest phone in terms of clock speed Verizon will see this quater. This is the work horse phone if you will, dont believe me? Take a look at the video after the break. -
Video: Droid X2, Dual Core Boot Screen.
Posted on April 14, 2011 | View CommentsFirst off, I’d like to make an appeal to Motorola. Dear Moto, please make this real and please let it grace the inside of my pocket in August! Now that you all know just how much I love the Droid X2, lets move on to the topic at hand. Just as the Original Droid X, the DX2 is leaking like crazy! We now have a video of it with the same boot logo we see on the Motorola XOOM and a nice Droid Eye. What is that boot logo you ask? Well look above and you’ll see that it is Motorola Mobility, DualCore Technology! As long as this is not... -
EPIC WIN: Android Activations Per Day. Domination. [Video]
Posted on February 24, 2011 | View CommentsAndroid is a powerful force, but how powerful? Well if you take a peak past the break (and have a nice techno song playing) you’ll see a Google produced video that shows the growth and domination of Android over the last two year. Its the whole world, then broken down to continents. Watch the upper-left though and you’ll see countdowns for major phones. Look what happens to the US when the Motorola Droid launched. iOS, your argument is invalid. -
QUICK HIT: Verizon’s New XOOM Ad.
Posted on February 21, 2011 | View CommentsI guess Verizon has been sensing our frustration and thought it was time to release a nice sixteen second ad for the Motorola XOOM. Were all still a little angry, so keep trying Verizon. $800 and no flash is not helping, and don’t get me started with the Thunderbolt. Knocking $300 off would probably sate us. ~Zephaniah Washington Editor-in-chief. -
HTC Thunderbolt 4G Unboxing. [Video]
Posted on February 8, 2011 | View CommentsWe have another unboxing of Verizon’s first LTE phone, the HTC Thunderbolt 4G. You may remember the one from a few weeks ago, but this one actually shows of the packaging that this phone will come in. It also dives into the internals a bit. Its always nice to get another look at this phone, but what would really be nice is some confirmation on when this phone will come out. Verizon just delayed the device from the 14th to an unknown time. See, I warned that the iPhone would hurt Verizon. I joke, current rumors are that Skype is the problem, and heaven forbid you launch it with Skype.... -
Epic Win #10: In-depth Demo of Honeycomb on XOOM. [Video]
Posted on January 8, 2011 | View CommentsAt CES, Google showed off an in-depth demo of Honeycomb. Surfiest it to say, anyone thinking about iPad’s should change their mind after seeing the beauty and simplicity and power of the Moto XOOM and Honeycomb! Notion Ink’s Adam Tab Joins the Party at CES
Posted on January 5, 2011 | View CommentsFinally, the Notion Ink Adam is being noticed by everyone at CES 2011. Engadget kept the CEO Rohan Shravan in their Mobile HQ for over 16 hours talking to him! Tomorrow is a big day for Notion Ink. Lots more information will be released about the logistics of sales and genesis. Along with this they have released a new promo video. Notion Ink is not saying what their sales figures are for pre sales but that could all change tomorrow. As soon as ours comes AGRS will have a hands on Review of this excellent device. Expect much more after tomorrow. -Joel Pederson AGRS Editor Source: Engadget, Notion Ink
