Then new Motorola Lapdock 500 Pro.
Posted on October 18, 2011 | View CommentsThe Lapdock was something Motorola first showed off to us back when the Atrix was announced, it also launched with the Droid Bionic. It was not really a great device. Not Motorola has decided to try again, this time adding a 14 inch more MacBook Pro style Lapdock 500 Pro to the line. The 500 has a much larger track pad, what appears to be a bettery keyboard and of course a larger 14 inch screen. No word on pricing yet. ~Zephaniah Washington. AGRS Editor-in-chief. -
Apple Double Issue: Final Cut X now available, iCloud storage limit halts emails and more
Posted on June 21, 2011 | View CommentsUnless MacRumors is wrong (which they are often not), iCloud may or may not allow a person to continue backing up their device and receiving emails once the current 5GB limit is reached. Also, in fantastic news, Final Cut Pro X is now available via the Mac App Store. Read on for more details on both. -
Getting a Mac for college? No more iPod Touch.
Posted on June 17, 2011 | View CommentsSorry gents, you did read that right. Apple has finally gotten their “Buy a Mac for College” page up, but this time, the typical “Get a free iPod Touch” promotion has been replaced by a “Get $100 in purchases from the Mac App Store”. Now for some, this promotion will be great, seeing as so many people already own some sort of iDevice and don’t need another one, but if you were looking forward to grabbing yourself one with your next Mac purchase, maybe something to sell on Craigslist, you’re out of luck. -
QUICK HIT: Gingerbread Update to Droid X, Droid 2, Droid 2 Global, and Droid Pro Coming Soon
Posted on May 23, 2011 | View CommentsThe long awaited Gingerbread update will soon be coming to four Droid models on Verizon, a Motorola Employee said today. The update’s will begin to roll out to Droid X users starting by the “end of the second quarter”, and the Pro, Droid 2, and Droid 2 Global by the “end of the third quarter”. If you are rockin one of these phones, you will most definitely be enjoying fresh baked Gingerbread some day very soon! Now, if only HTC would roll out Gingerbread updates to their devices… Nicolas Wiggins Android Correspondent Source: Droid-Life -
Apple news for the week of April 17th (and more!)
Posted on April 22, 2011 | View CommentsWow! What a fantastic couple of weeks it has been. Not only have we seen Apple’s prime software Final Cut Pro get an update, but a whole bunch of suing is going on too! A plus and a minus, if you ask me. Apple, in case you didn’t know, is suing Samsung. This is not surprising: Just take a gander at any Samsung Galaxy S device and it’s pretty clear where Apple is getting their angst from. More specifically, Samsung’s Galaxy S 4G looks to be the target (just check out the comparison below). Back at the Final Cut Pro update, this is a wild update. Not only have they... -
WWDC tickets goes on sale, sell out within hours
Posted on April 5, 2011 | View CommentsApple has this sort of magical thing they release with every new product. Somebody who has never owned an Apple product who buys one tends to feel this sort of off feeling, a sensation that all they can think of from there on is that they love Apple. Okay, I’ll cut the bullshit now. Apple within hours of putting WWDC tickets on sale sold out of the tickets. Obviously this means lots of the population must be very excited to see what Apple has to show off. There has been rumor about that tells of Apple not releasing a new iPhone (5) however I disagree, and I would definitely not be surprised... -
QUICK HIT: Apple Online Store Closed. New MacBook Pro’s.
Posted on February 24, 2011 | View CommentsIts that time again, Apple has closed their online store and we are pretty sure this is for the new MacBook Pro refresh. So if you have been waiting, I would come up with about $2200 fast. We’ll let you know whats new. Source: Apple. ~Zephaniah Washington Editor-in-chief. -
Dell Venue Pro’s could arrive before Christmas, if you ordered by Dec. 14th.
Posted on December 16, 2010 | View CommentsDell said that their new Windows Phone 7 device, the Venue Pro would not ship until around January 6th of next year. Yes, that is for people who pre-ordered. However it now appears that Dell could get your phone to you if you managed to get your order in by, well, yesterday (Dec. 14). You should receive you gorgeous smartphone before Christmas, however those of you still holding out, you probably won’t see anything in stores until early January. This phone has been pushed back some many times, lets hope this is the last time we see a longer wait time for the Venue Pro. Now, for those of you... -
Dell Venue Pro. Its delayed until 2011. [Developing].
Posted on December 14, 2010 | View CommentsIf you ordered a Dell Venue Pro, their is a strong chance that you will not see your device until early “2011″. It appears that Dell is having both hardware and software problems and manufacturing is not going so swell either. This is kind of sad because this phone look very promising, of all the Windows Phone 7 devices, this is the one I would pick. A rep form the Dell community forums is saying that some devices may still ship on the 18th as planned, but you may or may not need another hardware swap to fix the problems with the device. These problems include Wifi not working and...
