  • As many gamers know, today is the day that Microsoft rolls out the new Dashboard. Well, it’s causing a few problems. I went to sign into Xbox Live pre-update and got “unable to connect”, I went to “Test Connection” and was prompted to download the update. I was able to download and install the update, but am unable to sign in. More and more repports of this problem are coming in (as well as a rumor the the entire network is down, though that is only a rumor). We will keep you up to date with information as we get it.   • Apple has taken the wraps off of it’s new iPhone, dubbed the 4S, today in Cupertino. They also announced some information regarding a new white color for the iPod Touch, new pricing for the iPod Nano, and a few other things, including a virtual person.   • Just a few days after the last update (HTK55D), the WiFi only edition of the Motorola XOOM is receiving another update, this time to HTK75D. This update brings us the all new Android Market, scaled to better fit the tablet form factor. We are not sure what else it brings, but everything is running smoothly. To manually update go to Settings> About tablet> System updates. More shots of the new market after the break.

Just yesterday, Apple announced it will be releasing a new Time Capsule. Besides a number of new features, it most importantly features a 3TB hard drive, because you need it. And while this service is pretty awesome for Blackberry owners, the number of these owners is steadily decreasing, due mostly in part to the increasingly better features found on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 7. At WWDC this last Monday, Scott Forstall and Greg Joswiak showed off Apple’s new competitor to the service: iMessage. iMessage is more than just a messaging service between iPhones; it’s a way to keep in touch with anybody using a device with iOS 5 built-on.
