  • This probably doesn’t come as a surprise for me, including myself, but from recent news we’ve heard (aka a post on Engadget), some LTE equipment is being installed at Apple Stores, by AT&T. This comes after yesterday’s BGR find — where they found a property list file that has to do with LTE devices on iOS 5.  The equipment at the AT&T store supports the 700MHz and AWS bands,  bothof which are planning to be used by AT&T — if they get T-Mobile. Engadget was also told that the Apple store(s) in question are also trying to increase the number of floor salesman by 30%, for the apparent rush the everyone...

  • The community at Facebook didn’t seem to think that having a Facebook application made just for the iPad was necessary, or so we thought. Apparently, they have gone back on their word that the iPad was not a mobile device suited for a mobile Facebook application, and actually not only developed an iPad application, but released it unknowingly in an update somewhat recently (like two days ago).     The community at Facebook didn’t seem to think that having a Facebook application made just for the iPad was necessary, or so we thought. If you did, you may be noticing some issues, possibly the fact that it failed. Apple understands your issues, and they have began a replacement program to get you a new hard drive. Just yesterday, Apple announced it will be releasing a new Time Capsule. Besides a number of new features, it most importantly features a 3TB hard drive, because you need it.   • iMessage is a clear competitor to Blackberry’s famous BBM service they launched a while back. And while this service is pretty awesome for Blackberry owners, the number of these owners is steadily decreasing, due mostly in part to the increasingly better features found on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 7. At WWDC this last Monday, Scott Forstall and Greg Joswiak showed off Apple’s new competitor to the service: iMessage. iMessage is more than just a messaging service between iPhones; it’s a way to keep in touch with anybody using a device with iOS 5 built-on. Well I should say, you can have it this fall. The iPhone Dev Team’s MuscleNerd has confirmed via Twitter that iOS 5 is jailbroken and that this jailbreak will work with the final release of the software. However it is a tethered jailbreak so you will have to plug your device into your computer every time it restarts until the untethered version is released.   • In a totally non-Apple fashion, the multi-national company has come forward and clean today and announced three major products: iOS 5, a new version of the company’s revolutionary mobile OS, iCloud, an apparent cloud based sharing tool to either help or replace MobileMe, and the final version or a preview of their next major operating system, Mac OS X Lion. This way of announcing products is very strange for Apple, so come back on the sixth of June for more surprises, we hope!
