iOS still leads for developer attention
Posted on April 26, 2011 | View CommentsAccording to a recent study by Appcelerator, iOS for iPhone and iPad are leading for interest regarding application development, with Android close behind iPad and Honeycomb not too far behind that. This helps us know what we can expect in the future, suchas the fact Windows Phone 7 does not have as much to call for, and neither does Blackberry (never mind webOS or Meego). However, as we all know too well, things can change. We can only wait and see. ~ Jake Root Apple Correspondent -
Survey reveals AT&T drops the most calls
Posted on April 6, 2011 | View CommentsCall me surprised. Actually don’t, you’d be a fool. A survey by ChangeWave Research has revealed that AT&T drops the most calls of any mobile network, at 4.6 calls per 100 (4.6%). Verizon unsurprisingly takes the lead in this survey with only 1.4 dropped calls per 100 (1.4%). T-Mobile is second at 2.3% and Sprint is third at 2.7%. AT&T reached out and said that a survey by GWS not so very long ago revealed a 98.6% success rate, or exactly the same as Verizon’s. Hopefully, AT&T’s upcoming LTE and current HSPA+ network’s will help that number drop more. Best of luck to you, because you will need it. ~ Jake Root Yes,... -

It’s Rumor Time!!
Posted on September 1, 2010 | View CommentsSo, no one really like rumors. But sometimes they can be fun. After a pretty boring August (as far as the tech world goes) we are starting to get things rolling again! (ie. the apple press conference). So after thinking about it I decided to find the most likely to be true rumors out their and get some info on them. So here it is! 1. The HP Hurricane(aka PalmPad): “Project Hurricane” as it is called by HP insiders is now said to be released in the first quarter of 2011. However HP has not released any specs or pricing. 2. Notion Ink Adam: The release of the Notion Ink... -
WebOS Confirmed For HP Slate Tablets ‘early 2011′
Posted on August 19, 2010 | View CommentsWell because we had never seen this one coming. With HP’s purchase of Palm, and the announcement that HP has no intention of getting into the phone market, that meant only one thing. A WebOS tablet. In the past we had heard that HP’s Todd Bradley secretly told HP employee’s that a WebOS tablet would arrive in Q1 2011. Now Todd has gone on record in the company’s Q3 2010 earnings call. “You’ll see us with a Microsoft product out in the near future and a webOS-based product in early 2011.” This was in reply to a question directly announcing that the palm pad was or will be due to...
