This is supposed to launch at or very soon after the Windows Phone 7 platform release. This also looks to be the highest end smartphone being launched, not in its category but in the whole of all smartphone’s. The rumor is that the this Mondrian is going to...

  • It looks like we may be seeing the HTC Mondrian for the first time in some clearly unfinished AT&T advertisements. If these ad’s are real then it looks like we are viewing what may be the flagship Windows Phone 7 device at launch, remember that is believed to be next month. Oh and what’s really sweet is that the phone might be packing a 1.3 GHz Snapdragon processor. Video below. Source: JP Incorporated (Vimeo). Via: Engadget. • Why no Sense on HTC Windows Phone 7 (yet).

HTC CEO Peter Chou says that Sense UI will not “initially” make it on to its line of Windows Phone 7 devices. “Over time [they] will innovate on top of that to provide some HTC experience.” We have seen some images of fragmented aspects of Sense on WP7 devices so it may be that HTC is holding off the develop a more in-depth version Sense for WP7 and the Microsoft may be pursing back on it. Chou also mentioned that HTC would begin releasing 4G LTE devices in 2011. Chou did not say what carriers the phones would be on, however we are supposed to see Verizon (CDMA) version’s of...

This is a bit of a drag considering this phone will most likely become popular with the mobile business type’s (the one’s that do not get corporate BlackBerry’s). It was most likely on the table but never made it into version 1.0 of the software, though we would expect to see it in a later update of the OS. • HTC director confirming Windows Phone 7 launch next month!

We do not know why one of HTC’s reginal directors went on gulfnews to confirm WP7 for launch next month, but were glad he did. So yea, it looks like we will be seeing a launch of Windows Phone 7 by HTC next month. This lines up nicely with other rumors, and considering how many leaks we have seen regarding WP7 by HTC we could have guessed something had to be going down soon. This launch also gives Microsoft a nice holiday lead on the competitors. It looks like we will have a very competitive Christmas this year when it comes to mobile devices, and that’s a good thing. Expect...
