  • Coming soon to an AT&T store near you is the BlackBerry Torch. The newest BlackBerry Smartphone on the Market. At first glance the phone looks sleek, and different. Then once the phone begins to slide up you realize, that this is the best of both worlds for BlackBerry users. But wait, what BlackBerry users?   • Well it’s not like we did not see this coming. RIM’s BlackBerry 9800 slider was just approved by the FCC for AT&T frequencies. The FCC documents refer to it as a “BlackBerry smartphone model RCY71UW,”, there is no guessing that it is the 9800 we saw, when super imposed on previous images the frames match, there’s also liberal mention of several associated “MultiSourceDeclaration_9800_” documents throughout the FCC’s test results. All this together = Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1900, UMTS II (1900), V (850) are all go with the GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800 MHz bands and UMTS I (2100) bands listed for international use.   • This summer BlackBerry will be introducing it’s most exciting products since the “Storm”. So, BlackBerry OS6 what is going to be so cool about it?? Well lots and lots of things! First of all RIM (Research in Motion) says that their company has designed an extremely fluid interface (BlackBerry.com).Also, they have finally integrated multi-touch throughout the entire OS. (crackberry.com) Larger thumbnails, and built in RSS. The home screen will operate very similar to Android and Apple’s Home Screens. Applications will be available on the main home screen and then by swiping you finger left or right you can access another full page of applications. In addition, an updated media player,...

  • By the end of 2010 BlackBerry is expected to role out it’s first tablet (cnet.com). Naturally, this is meant to compete with Apples iPad. However by looking at the specs it looks like the people at Apple have a bit to worry about. The tablet will carry a 1GHz processor (possibly made by marvel). This chip is capable of 1080p video playback, 16 megapixel camera and advanced 3D graphics (cnet.com). Screen size will be only 7 inches.
