  • The Lapdock was something Motorola first showed off to us back when the Atrix was announced, it also launched with the Droid Bionic. It was not really a great device. Not Motorola has decided to try again, this time adding a 14 inch more MacBook Pro style Lapdock 500 Pro to the line. The 500 has a much larger track pad, what appears to be a bettery keyboard and of course a larger 14 inch screen. No word on pricing yet. ~Zephaniah Washington. AGRS Editor-in-chief.

  • A visionary. Someone who has a goal, someone who see’s the possibilities that no one else can see, someone who has the drive and determination to make it happen. Today we have lost one of the greatest we’ve ever had. Thank you Steve Jobs, our memories are with you and our prayers are with your family and friends. Rest in peace. Sincerely, the AGRS Staff: Zephaniah Washington, Jake Root, Nicolas Wiggins. ~Zephaniah Washington Jobs inspired me to write, inspired me to look at things in a whole new way, inspired me to start AGRS. I am forever grateful. I am sad that I never got to meet him in person.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, Apple would like to “talk iPhone” on October 4th. All we can really say is what they’ve all said “it’s about time.” Apple has been a bit slow with the iPhone 4S/5/What ever, lets hope this is because they are actually going to pac some game changing features into this iteration of phone(s). We of course will see iOS 5, which is certainly going to be a nice feature boost to the slightly stale iOS, but we all now what we want to see, that hardware. We will have our breakdown of all the news as it becomes available. Also if Apple provides a live stream, we...

  • So far, Apple has been having a hell of a time in the courthouse, and I might say, this is a good thing for them. However, this is bad for HTC, clearly. The ITC has ruled that 2 of the 10 patents Apple accused HTC of infringing on in Apple’s favor; in other words, HTC was found guilty. If everything plays well for Apple, we can expect particular devices manufactured by the Taiwanese company to be banned from reaching US shores. Good for Apple favoritism, bad for those who love HTC. HTC general counsel Grace Lei responded back quickly with the following statement: “HTC will vigorously fight these two remaining patents through an appeal...

  • iMessage is a clear competitor to Blackberry’s famous BBM service they launched a while back. And while this service is pretty awesome for Blackberry owners, the number of these owners is steadily decreasing, due mostly in part to the increasingly better features found on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 7. At WWDC this last Monday, Scott Forstall and Greg Joswiak showed off Apple’s new competitor to the service: iMessage. iMessage is more than just a messaging service between iPhones; it’s a way to keep in touch with anybody using a device with iOS 5 built-on. The most interesting part of the service is probably the speed. You’ll know things like when a person begins...

  • It is that time of year again, the World Wide Developers Conference is on in Southern California and Apple has a lot of new things to show to the world. One of the many new things at WWDC 2011 is OS X Lion. Yes, it has been a few years since Mac OS X was upgraded, and this is quite the upgrade. 250+ new features as Apple puts it. New multi-touch gestures, full screen apps like iPhoto, iMovie, Safari, and more, as well as the new iOS-like applications launcher. And, Apple has added their new Resume feature which allows you to pick up exactly where you left off, as well...

  • The WWDC keynote has come and gone – and boy has it left us with our jaws open. While other people on this site will be covering other parts of the keynote, I will be talking about iOS 5, and the major overhauls that entail it. From the new notification system, to the deep iCloud and Twitter integration, iOS has really started to grow up even more. Let’s get a closer look. Deeper integration with Twitter: No longer does iOS make you open the application to use the application’s features (at least for Twitter), the new integration of the said app allows the OS to make better use of Twitter, from...
