This is an Outrage!
Posted on January 19, 2012 | View CommentsSo just after the largest internet protest in history, the US government gives us all the middle finger and takes down MegaUpload. This is what SOPA/PIPA will do. We MUST KILL BOTH BILLS NOW! Please read the following from Demand Progress. Also SPREAD THE WORD ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA SITES! Yes, we know — another email. But this news is urgent UNBELIEVABLE: One day after history’s largest online protest, the U.S. Government nonchalantly responds with the middle finger. The Wall Street Journal reports: The FBI shut down Thursday one of the world’s most popular file-sharing websites, MegaUpload.com, and announced the arrest of four of the people behind it in a... -
Then new Motorola Lapdock 500 Pro.
Posted on October 18, 2011 | View CommentsThe Lapdock was something Motorola first showed off to us back when the Atrix was announced, it also launched with the Droid Bionic. It was not really a great device. Not Motorola has decided to try again, this time adding a 14 inch more MacBook Pro style Lapdock 500 Pro to the line. The 500 has a much larger track pad, what appears to be a bettery keyboard and of course a larger 14 inch screen. No word on pricing yet. ~Zephaniah Washington. AGRS Editor-in-chief. -

Mark your iCal. Apple wants to talk iPhone Oct. 4.
Posted on September 27, 2011 | View CommentsLadies and gentlemen, Apple would like to “talk iPhone” on October 4th. All we can really say is what they’ve all said “it’s about time.” Apple has been a bit slow with the iPhone 4S/5/What ever, lets hope this is because they are actually going to pac some game changing features into this iteration of phone(s). We of course will see iOS 5, which is certainly going to be a nice feature boost to the slightly stale iOS, but we all now what we want to see, that hardware. We will have our breakdown of all the news as it becomes available. Also if Apple provides a live stream, we... -
ITC finds HTC guilty on two of Apple’s patents, HTC prepares to fight back
Posted on July 15, 2011 | View CommentsSo far, Apple has been having a hell of a time in the courthouse, and I might say, this is a good thing for them. However, this is bad for HTC, clearly. The ITC has ruled that 2 of the 10 patents Apple accused HTC of infringing on in Apple’s favor; in other words, HTC was found guilty. If everything plays well for Apple, we can expect particular devices manufactured by the Taiwanese company to be banned from reaching US shores. Good for Apple favoritism, bad for those who love HTC. HTC general counsel Grace Lei responded back quickly with the following statement: “HTC will vigorously fight these two remaining patents through an appeal... -
QUICK HIT: A quick run down of OS X Lion.
Posted on June 6, 2011 | View CommentsIt is that time of year again, the World Wide Developers Conference is on in Southern California and Apple has a lot of new things to show to the world. One of the many new things at WWDC 2011 is OS X Lion. Yes, it has been a few years since Mac OS X was upgraded, and this is quite the upgrade. 250+ new features as Apple puts it. New multi-touch gestures, full screen apps like iPhoto, iMovie, Safari, and more, as well as the new iOS-like applications launcher. And, Apple has added their new Resume feature which allows you to pick up exactly where you left off, as well... -
[QUICK HIT] HTC CEO Confirms: No More Locked Boot Loaders
Posted on May 27, 2011 | View CommentsWell, just a day or so after HTC said that the bootloaders on their Sensation and Evo 3D handsets would be locked, CEO Peter Chou announced that they will never do it again. As you can see, on HTC’s Facebook page, a quote by Chou points it out very clearly: “There has been overwhelmingly customer feedback that people want access to open bootloaders on HTC phones. I want you to know that we’ve listened. Today, I’m confirming we will no longer be locking the bootloaders on our devices. Thanks for your passion, support and patience” This is great news for those who love to tinker with their devices. HTC also...
