First Look: Samsung Series 5. Chrome OS in a little black dress.
Posted on May 11, 2011 | View CommentsOk, so its not actually in a little black dress, but close enough. Today at Google IO (Day 2), Google announced it’s first OEM partners for Chromebooks. It is the star of the Chrome OS pilot program, but I guess Google just does not like them, maybe its the lack of a giant Google logo. We will have our review of the Cr-48 when it arrives (were thinking Thursday). Update: As for confirmation of shipment, their is none. When you register you now see a message that basically says that if your selected Google will call or email you. This is change from the first version which said if they had one they would send it.
