  • So, my last article sounded pretty cool. If fit into the idea of magic and impossible, but it seems there is a more likely result of the press conference. What ELSE could fall into the category laid out by Sprint? 3D. Make that glasses-less 3D. Yes, the worlds first glasses-less smartphone…running Android…will most likely be announced next month. It may be two devices, as both HTC and LG have expressed interest, but I think the absolute most probable company to dish it out will be LG. Why do I think this? LG has already told us it will happen: That right there is the Optimus 3D, which is supposed to...

  • So, recently we have all been puzzled by Sprint and what they will announce on February 7th, and there really hasn’t been any leaks or anything on what it may be. Unless, you look deep into what the message is. “Industry first”, the “impossible is possible”, and the fact that David Blaine will be a part of it all points to something, so insane, that nobody would think of. What would be absolutely this crazy? Well, I joked about it in the first post about this event, just throwing it out there and I did not think it at all when it was wrote, but I looked into it and...

  • Well well well, look what Sprint is teasing us with now: A new device? An EVO 2 (Please!)? We will have to wait until February 7th. It would seem very beneficial for Sprint to announce a device that could stack up to the competitions new 4G handsets, as the EVO Shift 4G doesn’t quite cut it with its slow processor and almost low-end build. Seeing how the EVO impacted the market last year, why couldn’t they do the same this year? I have had my EVO since June 2010, and if a successor came out then it would be high on my list for my next device, even if I...

  • Android has made an incredible splash today, from the first 4G tablet to HTC phones, a new Droid for Verizon, and it all gets topped off with the biggest shock of all this year: AT&T actually getting good devices. Lets start with tablets At the top, a new Android OS! Thats right, 3.0 Honeycomb was just announced today, and how amazing it is! It is the first all tablet OS ever designed (yes, iOS for iPad is nothing different from any other iDevice, and Android on current tablets are much different), and it shines. I found a nice video showing off the basics, and the device it is shown to...

  • Over the past few years Sprint has Invested millions and millions of dollars into clearwire. The two companies share their WiMAX and understandably so Sprint is worried about other company’s like Verizon jumping onto the 4G train with them. So, this week according to a Goldman Sachs analyst that met with sprint executives this past week were quoted sayingthat they “have encouraged” a wholesale spectrum deal that would bring cash in from T-Mobile USA. Keep in mind T-Mobile is really undecided on where their company 4G will mostly come from. They are still working on a plan to move farther than just HSPA+. But money is the ultimate factor in this decision. Sprint’s clearwire investments are not giving...

  • It has been a long and painful wait. Back in May we heard rumors that Samsung would begin producing tablets similar to the Galaxy S lines of phones. Now after several months of chasing any little bit of news, an image, or anything related to the Tab, we finally go hands on. Hardware/Specs: The Galaxy Tab is a mix between a great eReader and a really nice media browser, where as the iPad is more of a high-end netbook replacement. So lets talk about specs. The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 7.4×4.7 inch Corning Gorilla Glass LCD screen with a resolution of 1024×600, this is the same resolution as the...

  • The Galaxy TAB. The first ever Android Tablet with the resources- and the market base- to take on the iPad. But the question is, what network has the best variant for you? Lets take a look: 1. T-Mobile Released yesterday, November 10th 2010, this is the most cost-effective version of the TAB. For the lowest price, $399.99 on a two year contract and with a $24.99/mo data charge for 200mb. That also comes with a mobile hotspot and unlimited texting. Seems really nice of them, huh? Currently, T-Mobile is the only provider that has texting unlimited and free of charge with their data packages. We have no word on if...

  • I have had my EVO for exactly five months, and in that amount of time some I have found some annoying problems that other sites have not reported on. Only two major problems have gone unsaid. So without further ado, lets jump in: Problem 1: Bright Spots Since about the fifth week as an EVO owner, I’ve noticed some extremely annoying bright spots. First it was only one, then a second one appeared. Then a third. Then the first one turned into a bright line connecting two spots. And now there are over 6 bright spots that are multiplying and turning into bright lines. It is visible on any color...
