  • 2011. The year Verizon finally snapped. CES came around, and the HTC Thunderbolt was announced as well as the Motorola XOOM. In the first two weeks of 2011, it looked like this was it, this was the year Verizon would really leap ahead in the market. But, they made the catastrophic mistake. They decided to get the iPhone 4, and now, we can speculate that that is the reason why everything is happening the way it is. (Zephaniah wrote his rant on the Thunderbolt, so I will not get into that as much) The Thunderbolt looked to be the most amazing thing that anyone had ever seen in terms of...

  • The Motorola XOOM and the HTC Thunderbolt, America’s most wanted tablet and phone, are going to be launched on the same day, according to new rumors. Pricing is also very similar, which is a major let down. But, lets look at the release date first. February 24th, 13 days from today, these two amazing devices will be available to the masses. Sure, it is just a wee bit more of a wait, but it will be worth it. Yesterday, the iPhone was released on Verizon, so that means the Thunderbolt will be “reserved” for the smart people, since everyone that bought the iPhone will have to wait 20 months until...

  • Thanks iTunes. Really, I am glad you stole over $23 from me. How about we back up a little so you understand what is going on. For Christmas from my Aunt, I received a $25 iTunes Gift Card. I waited all the way until January 18th to cash in my loot, but there was a problem. As soon as I redeemed the code, it said that my account was credited with $25, but the line immediately after that said, “You now have $1.21 in your account”. Instantly, I though it was some sort of error, and I emailed Apple about the problem. A direct quote of that email follows: Hello,...

  • This nicely made chart shows you clearly, without bias or lies, that the iPhone 4 does not even come close to some of the 4G phones going to Verizon. iPhone 4 has 12 of these features missing, while the Droid Bionic had 4 and the Thunderbolt had 3. Just goes to show you, the iPhone sucks in comparison to these devices. I have also found more of these infographics that compare the AT&T iPhone to the EVO, Droid X, Epic 4G, and the Droid 2 Please, if you STILL think the iPhone 4 is better go jump off a cliff, the world would be a lot better without people that...

  • According to this nice pie graph, Android is nearing halfway mark of controlling the smartphone market. 46% of smartphone owners have an Android device, as opposed to the 32% of people who still haven’t received the memo that the iPhone sucks. RIM has taken a very sharp dive and Blackberry owners are 16% of the smartphone market. Interesting, how Android was first thought as “the little guy who will never take off” and now it is at the top. 2010 was Android’s greatest rise: since last January, Android as grown some 3130% and yes that is three thousand one hundred thirty percent! I really hope you people out there are...

  • GOOD JOB VERIZON!! You went with the iPhone! *clap clap clap* Congrats for being straight up STUPID! Verizon, who was once the best carrier in the United States or even the world, made a fatal mistake. They decided to have the iPhone on their network. First, lets see why iPhone sells: Its most notable feature is the Apple logo on the back. After that, it is nothing special. People buy the iPhone because of the logo and the hype around it, not because it is the best. iPhone owners get so caught up in the hype that they create a false sense that the iPhone is the best ever made,...

  • So there have been a lot of theories that tomorrow will be the debut of the Verizon iPhone. My thoughts? It might not be. History has proven that Verizon has been belittling the iPhone since it was first released. One of the most memorable instances is the 2009 holiday commercial of the Island of Misfit toys. The iPhone was placed on this island, showing Verizon does not think the iPhone is good. So, why would Verizon want it now? It is junk! And, Verizon has been really stepping up on Android, with multiple devices with a DROID title and now some 4G Android devices, so why would they want to...

  • Android has made an incredible splash today, from the first 4G tablet to HTC phones, a new Droid for Verizon, and it all gets topped off with the biggest shock of all this year: AT&T actually getting good devices. Lets start with tablets At the top, a new Android OS! Thats right, 3.0 Honeycomb was just announced today, and how amazing it is! It is the first all tablet OS ever designed (yes, iOS for iPad is nothing different from any other iDevice, and Android on current tablets are much different), and it shines. I found a nice video showing off the basics, and the device it is shown to...
