LIVE Blog: Google/Samsung “Whats new with Android” Event.
Posted on October 18, 2011 | View CommentsToday Samsung and Google announce the Galaxy Nexus. The most advanced and revolutionary phone I’ve ever seen. They also spent a great deal of time in Android 4, and so will we. Read the live blog below and pick one up in November. -
Then new Motorola Lapdock 500 Pro.
Posted on October 18, 2011 | View CommentsThe Lapdock was something Motorola first showed off to us back when the Atrix was announced, it also launched with the Droid Bionic. It was not really a great device. Not Motorola has decided to try again, this time adding a 14 inch more MacBook Pro style Lapdock 500 Pro to the line. The 500 has a much larger track pad, what appears to be a bettery keyboard and of course a larger 14 inch screen. No word on pricing yet. ~Zephaniah Washington. AGRS Editor-in-chief. -

[QUICK HIT] Android 4- The XOOM Calls “Firsties!”
Posted on October 17, 2011 | View CommentsRemember earlier this year how the Motorola XOOM was the first device to run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb? Well, the XOOM will also be the first tablet to run Ice Cream Sandwich. Android 4, as it will be officially known as, will be showcased along side the Galaxy Nexus on Wednesday morning in Hong Kong (it will be 6pm Tuesday night here in Seattle), and the XOOM should be the first device to get it OTA within the next few weeks, but it isn’t clear whether it will have it before or after the Galaxy Nexus drops in early November on Verizon. Stay tuned for more ICS info, tomorrow night... -
Our Memories and Prayers.
Posted on October 5, 2011 | View CommentsA visionary. Someone who has a goal, someone who see’s the possibilities that no one else can see, someone who has the drive and determination to make it happen. Today we have lost one of the greatest we’ve ever had. Thank you Steve Jobs, our memories are with you and our prayers are with your family and friends. Rest in peace. Sincerely, the AGRS Staff: Zephaniah Washington, Jake Root, Nicolas Wiggins. ~Zephaniah Washington Jobs inspired me to write, inspired me to look at things in a whole new way, inspired me to start AGRS. I am forever grateful. I am sad that I never got to meet him in person. -

Posted on October 5, 2011 | View CommentsA lifelong leader, and an idol for the entire tech industry, Apple’s site has just revealed that Steven Paul Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, Inc, has died at the age of 56, mere months after announcing he was stepping down as CEO of the company, and giving the reins over to Tim Cook. “We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today,” Apple said in a brief statement. AllThingsD has posted a memo CEO Tim Cook has sent to all employees, announcing they will be holding an internal celebration, in honor (seen after the break). [EDITORIAL] The iPhone 4S – Already Behind in the Game?
Posted on October 4, 2011 | View CommentsToday was a good day for Apple and Apple lovers, but it makes me wonder, “Apple, have you forgotten that you are competing with other manufacturers in the mobile world?” I ask myself that because the iPhone 4S is behind in almost every category, and that is not an opinion, that is an observed fact when you compare the specs with other devices. Don’t believe me? Lets compare the iPhone 4S with the Samsung Galaxy S II. -
