Here is what we like to see. It looks like Google has a leak, a leak that likes to take blurry shots of in-dev versions of Android. Android Police and Rootz Wiki have obtained leaked shots of what could be Android 4 aka Ice Cream Sandwich or ICS. It appears that Google does not yet have new developer hardware, so if these shots are real, then the Nexus S is playing lab rat for ICS.
We should point out that this could be clever skinning and some nice root apps, but we will give anything a look. We did see images leaked several months ago of what could be the next Nexus. It is codenamed Prime. This phone appears to have no capacitive buttons that normally control Android, which fits into what we know about ICS having no need to physical controls. But from the leaked shots, I’m not seeing on screen controls for things like home, back, menue, or search. However I do spy what looks like a multitasking button. Personally I think these shots look a bit like WebOS, so I hope Google makes a few UI tweaks before launch time. Thoughts? More shots after the break.
