UK Apple stores removing inventory from main floors in face of riots

While normally, the UK seems like a great place, recent riots over the shooting of 29 year-old man by police have sparked some stores to relieve their main floors of product. This is seen in some Apple stores around the nation, the above being a good example. A statement from the store is as follows:

“Above: Due To The Riots In England, The Apple Store In Liverpool One have moved all stock up stairs from the show floor.”

Resellers are also getting into the action. This leads us to believe that this is an Apple mandated order and that all stores around London must remove their inventory from their ground floors.
