Sorry gents, you did read that right. Apple has finally gotten their “Buy a Mac for College” page up, but this time, the typical “Get a free iPod Touch” promotion has been replaced by a “Get $100 in purchases from the Mac App Store”. Now for some, this promotion will be great, seeing as so many people already own some sort of iDevice and don’t need another one, but if you were looking forward to grabbing yourself one with your next Mac purchase, maybe something to sell on Craigslist, you’re out of luck.
