May I say right off the bat that these five new Windows Phone 7 devices are mind blowing.

Today WP7 was officially announced in a conference hosted by Microsoft and AT&T. HTC, Dell, LG, and Samsung all had phones to contribute to this event, and HTC sure did bring the cream of the crop. There is a phone for every type of person: if you are a gamer, a media buff, someone who enjoys a huge screen, a full keyboard, or massive surround sound. Lets take a closer look at these new phones:
HTC 7 Mozart

Crafted from an aluminum unibody design, and built for the person who loves music. Even the name reflects what it is built for. It has a 1GHz Snapdragon Processor, a 3.7in screen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, GSM quadband connectivity, 16 gigs of onboard memory, an 8mp camera with 720p hd video recording with dual Xenon flash, and the usual specs like WiFi, Bluetooth, ect. All in all, it is a very solid device, one of my favorite in the new WP7 lineup.
HTC 7 Trophy

Designed with the gamer in mind, this phone has everything to bring Xbox 360 to your phone..well, not quite yet. For now we have the apps from the Windows Phone 7 market and connectivity to your Xbox Live account. One day there could be the ablitity to access your Xbox and start playing a game like Halo Reach. But, that is pretty far off. Specs read as so: 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 3.8in screen with 480×800 pixels resolution, GSM quadband connectivity, 16gigs of onboard memory, a 5mp camera with a single LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth, ect. If you are a gaming fan like me, this phone is for you. It will be one of the best devices running WP7 and maybe even one of the best HTC has to offer.
HTC 7 Surround

One of the strangest adaptations of this phone is a slider, but not a QWERTY slider like on the other slider phones. It is a Yamaha speaker that simulates surround sound, and it also has a kickstand. This phone will reinvent the multimedia device, as it will be perfect for watching movies or listening to music. It also has some impressive specs, like a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 5mp camera with LED flash and 720p video capture, Dolby Surround Sound, and the slide out speaker and kickstand like I mentioned earlier. This is one of the strangest phones ever thought of, and it will be very successful (given that it is on a different network than AT&T in the US).
HTC HD7

The successful HD2 is now about to be one-uped by the HD3 or I mean HD7. It is the 4.3in large screen we have come to love on the HD2 and EVO, and it is more glorious than ever. This device will be the best seller of the group, because it is on a network that is at par with everyone else (T-Mobile). It also has a strange kickstand that fits in between the camera, flashes, and speaker. Not the best place to put it, and certainly not a pleasant colour, but oh well I am not complaining too much. It is ran by a 1GHz Snapdragon, has a 5mp camera with dual LED flash, the nice 4.3in screen, and 32mb of memory onboard. It is a winner!
HTC 7 Pro

WOW! This is an astounding mix of a full QWERTY keyboard and a nice phone all in one. It is essentially the HD7 with a smaller screen and slide out keyboard. The HTC Tilt has been reborn, and it is badder than ever. A blazing 1GHz Snapdragon Processor, 32gigs of memory, 5mp 720p camera with LED flash, and the nice QWERTY keyboard just to name off some of the nice specs this phone has. It is currently the only CDMA WP7 device and it will be going to Sprint sometime next year. Don’t worry, good things come to those who wait!
So thats my two cents about the new HTC 7 phones, some of them debuting later this month on AT&T and other carriers worldwide. I like what I see in this group, and they will all sell successfully. As always, keep checking AGRS Tech News for all of your tech needs.
